@Dgk When you say "The bypass only ever useful to you IF YOU EVEN HAVE UPDATES (the packages itself) TO BEGIN WITH" are you talking about these updates?

    KB4490628
    KB4474419
    KB4536952

Does this work with Server 2008 (non-R2)?

There are not any extended security updates yet. They will be released in February. Perhaps there will be a thread then, but why make a thread now when no ESUs exist? We would have 54 pages of nonsense.

    Hi
Windows 7 (x64 Ultimate) installed the update KB 3108664 automatically today, although there should no longer be any updates.
It is to prevent the modification of .dll files.
Does this have any influence on the work of BypassESUv4 (not yet installed for me)?

As far as I know, Windows Vista is not included in ESU program, only Server 2008 SP2.

It doesn't revert anything, only the old fake activations like removewat.

And in some scenarios when KMS tools are used, it can interfere.

No, these are public KBs/updates, which is why you can just get them from catalog. ESU updates are supplied through different channel.

    Fair enough.

Thank you for this site, it's endless supply of info, and unsurpassed support. I have been a member for years and have waited until now to post a comment:

Being built on the Server 2008r2 core, I can confirm that this is a working solution on WHS 2011.

Thank you again for all of the help and support I have received over the years.

    Respectfully,

    Jamizon

it's just a reference feedback with the highest appreciation of the authors' efforts!

    neither installer.bat nor remover.bat of v4 doesn't work as advised/expected - i.e. run a file as admin.
however both perform as expected if run from any location thru CMD as admin, although the shorter pass is likely desired as recommended :)
tested on the fully updated win7sp1x64 ultimate.

    rgds,

UPDATE: oops, sorry for an incorrect info as above. just forgot to unblock 7z file after its download. now both installer.bat & remover.bat perform as desiged! :)

    Thanks for the updated version.

    Quick question if I may?

When referring to the IFEO BypassESU.dll bypass method (all my win7's are Home Premium) the note "AV Interoperability" I'm assuming mean Anti Virus?

Is this just that the method MAY trigger AV's (any in particular) or it WILL trigger AV's?

Thanks again to the Devs for all the work. I'd hate to have to teach my 65 year old mother (who has two Win7 machines) to use Win10...

I've ran all separate files on virustotal and none of the files triggered any AV engine.

But when your Starter/Basic/Premium system is activated by SLIC+Cert+OEM:SLP (by any means, including DAZ Loader), you can simply use "Anytime Upgrade" and insert any of the Win 7 Pro or Ultimate keys from DAZ Loader keys.ini file, to upgrade to Pro or Ultimate (ESU supported edititons).

And the bypass will use the AV safe option.
