Use easeus partition master it will help you alot. you can clone drives pretty easy. About the updates, just use the bypass it will make it work the required updates list is listed. So basically for now there is no point in using 0patch.
I asked months ago about the procedure to upgrade from a ESU-patched Windows 7 machine to Windows 10. Reply I received was to just wait until MS support ceases. Since that time will be here in a week, I will now ask again how this can be done. Previously, Microsoft gave free upgrades to Windows 7 users on Home and Pro. But since the machine now has all these ESU updates, will I be able to just upgrade the OS by simply downloading the Windows 10 Home or Pro iso and then install, or will I need to follow some specific steps? To be clear, I do NOT want to wipe the drive and start over with a clean install. Thank you.
if you would have searched yourself you would have know that upgrading from windows 7 to 10 is still free. just perform in-place upgrade using consumer ISO
Hello who had the idea to create a folder esu 4'5'6 on Windows 7 pro and enterprise esu to extend it until 2026 in kb5015861 or kb5015862
I know it is still free. I was just wondering if I had uninstall the patcher or do anything special for the in-place upgrade to work. If nothing needs to be done, then that would be great.
ghacks.net did a thread back in July. I tried to post a link, but the system is not playing. It did suggest that these two updates contain a facility to extend support for W7 another three years due to the instability and user-unfriendliness of W10 and W11. Try searching on kb5015861 and it should come up.
Very good Question. If I install a win 7 and the ESU from here can I get the updates and the ESU with it? These computers are in a class Mindanao Philippines. This will save a lot of time instead using Simlex update. Im a noob to this
Does someone know if MS Security Essentials will still get updates after tomorrow ? If not I'd have to search for another AV that still supports Win 7.
I thought it was the 15th. Rumor has it longer but doubtful. I missed an update. Can't get it from the MS catalog. Suspect the ESU will be the same. It's all locked out soon
Is anyone going to try & hack the updates of Server '08 R2 or POSReady 7, of which are both supported for another nearly 2 years and put them on Windows 7? Or do we all just have a funeral for Win 7 tomorrow (Jan 10, 2023)? ... I, myself will continue manually updating my POSReady 7 VM until support ends a year from this Oct. And I'm hoping that this won't be the only version of Win7 to survive till then.
I'm also curious to see what's going to happen with Windows 7 SP1 after January 10th, but we all need to cool our jets and be patient until February 14th. If there's a way to keep updates coming for Windows 7 SP1 after January 10th, I'm sure some of the people here will let us know.
abbodi1406 Good day, whether it will be necessary to update BypassESU v11 to increase non-official support to 6 years? )
thanks abbodi1406 and everyone here from the bottom of my heart for keep supporting the legendary OS for all these years...its a sad day today....but ....we still have a hope ...and even its not gonna happen nothing...7 will always have and I believe ALL here , a special place in our heart specially with people who grown up with this legendary OS.... thank you again for everything...
Hellow Thanks abbodi1406 and Everyone here for Bypass Windows 7 Extended Security Updates Eligibility Today Windows 7 is dead.
Windows Embedded Standard 7 updates will still work with the ESU bypass (and Thank again an gain). Since the beginning of the program ESU the updates embedded windows 7 correspond to the others 7 (same hash)... Only the addition of the word "embedded" makes the difference, but for we other is the guarantee of updates until at least October 2024. Check !
...it did the same thing in the time of Windows XP, however a registry line had to be modified in XP for it to be recognized as "embedded", and of course no problem.
