I'm on Win7 Pro (x64). I just manually installed KB5022874 a little while ago (Sec Only for Windows embedded standard 7 systems). I always installed the Sec Only updates and I was up to date (to Jan 2023)...so no problem installing so far. Now I'm going to see abbodi1406's updated ESU suppressor and his updated .NET4 ESU Bypass. A million thanks to abbodi1406 and all the clever MDL guys for their dedication to this and their generosity. Edit:- Followed the instructions re the updated standalone .NET Bypass and installed KB5022509. Everything went without a hitch....I feel like dancing lol. Thanks again you wonderful guys on MDL.
Moin @ All! My February 2023 ESUpdate experience for Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 systems: "Licensing method": KB4528069 & "new" BypassESU-v12 KB5022520 (Security Only Update for .NET Framework 4.8) -> succesfully installed KB5022530 (Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1) -> succesfully installed KB5022835 (Cumulative Security Update for IE 11) -> succesfully installed KB5022874 (Security Only Quality Update for Windows Embedded 7 Standard / Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1) -> succesfully installed @ abbodi1406: Thx for your support! Great job! Windows 7 will never die! ^^ Addendum: The following additional updates were offered by the Microsoft servers via the Windows Update Search and were also successfully installed: KB5023288 (.NET 6.0.10 Security Update for x64 Client) & Security Intelligence-Update for Microsoft Security Essentials.
Just for those wondering. I did a free in-place upgrade to Windows 10 and everything is pretty much the same. The computer is even a little faster if anything. Chrome, Google Drive etc. were stopping support for windows 7 and I figured now was the time. Good luck to those persevering with 7.
