Just updated Windows 7 Pro to the latest Jan updates with bypassesu v13f. Thanks for the continued support.
BypassESU 13f you've got install .NET 4 ESU? How about installing it manually. This one goes 100% dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer_v4.
Yes, the manual installation using dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer_v4 works fine, thank you. KB5049619 (Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.8) -> succesfully installed However, the strange thing is that I have never had to use dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer_v4 before.
Hi. This month WU only shows me this update: KB890830 Which is "Tool for removal of hurtfull software" or something like that. I am not offered the Monthly rollup that I usually get. Does the new Stable Pack, KB5050681, need to be installed before WU will offer me KB5050049 Monthly Rollup? The Stable pack is also not shown, but I guess I could download it manually and install it. Am using BypassESU-v13f
try installing the monthly rollup manually; if you get an error you need to install KB5050681 prior to running updates for Server 2008 R2
My manual installation way was : 1. Step ndp48-kb5049619-x64 2. Step windows6.1-kb5049994-x64 3. Step windows6.1-kb5050681-x64 4. Step windows6.1-kb5050049-x64 I was having an error on the : ndp48-kb5049619-x64 if i have installed the : windows6.1-kb5050681-x64 first; all other updates was installed succesfully with your installation way.

Hello everyone After doing the January 2025 updates Windows Update offers me the update KB2992611 for Windows Server 2008 R2 Should I install it or hide it?
I'm getting an error trying to install KB5050183 (2025-01 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET framework). I patched this machine a few months ago to take advantage of the extended security updates, and it's been working fine except for this specific update. Do I need to run the new patcher? Or is the error related to something else? Running Win 7 Enterprise
Do you have BypassESU-v13f + .NET 4 ESU installed? And if you have a .NET 4 ESU, make the option to deactivate and again activate. Install .NET now! You can also install it manually.
Been updating w/o issues for several years now but this month had the KB5049619 issue others have - "fatal error during installation" so I decided to install BypassESU-v13f which then successfully installed it (yesterday) but today I've got the "windows 7 build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine" in bottom right corner of desktop. I have a GENUINE copy of W7 I've been using since it came out! Never seen this issue mentioned here so anyone know which of the various solutions I've found online is best? I could reactivate it but idk if that would screw something else up somehow.
I can only speak for my setup, but I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU and after that was done I was able to reactivate Windows 7 with all of the Windows 7 Embedded and Server 2008 R2 updates installed. To be on the safe side, make an image of your C drive, that way if anything does go wrong, you can always restore things to its current state and not be any worse off than you are now.
