Used BypassESU-v4.7z Windows 7 Ultimate Eneterprise Activation BypassESU-v4.7 used slc.dll Issues after install: - Komm's KUC is choking now and trustedinstaller is stuck along with DISM, conhost and DISM Host. - The test update, KB4528069, seems to do the same thing and sit with trustedinstaller jerking off for hours. I think there may be an issue. At some point I'll try reverting it and see if KUC can finish again. KUC was never run with "remove" option, so both WU and KUC can keep working.
Ok, I have a question about Microsoft's upcoming fix for the wallpaper "stretch" option problem with Windows 7... Will we need to temporarily uninstall the bypass in order to get the wallpaper stretch problem fix when Microsoft publishes/distributes it?
I don't think so, since this will be a free update which you can get directly from WU. Bypassv4 doesn't disturb WU, I think.
As of today since the 14th of January 2019 there have been 13 Security Intelligence Updates for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB2310138 (Version 1.307.2418.0 - Version 1.307.3222.0) Not sure on any other types of updates for win 7, but as for myself those updates seems to be the only ones that have been released...still unsure what each one is for and or does to be honest. Won't know till feb 2020 if this tool works or not or if it has been working already...but as of now I still get updates for win 7.
Those are MSE definitions updates, and it's been mentioned that they will be released but no Platform updates anymore.
Sure, attached. I let dism/dismhost/conhost/trustedinstaller run for 24 hours. never finished. First: for me it's a problem with your windows update installation. I made some changes to KUC (download the new version) that should enable you to fix the 84 Bad Packages. The effected updates are: 4018271 3150513 2990999 2990184 2925489 2923766 2918833 2898851 2891144 2818604 2752259 (2728738) Note u should set Windows Update to: "Never check for updates" for this. 1. Run Copy_Files_2_add.cmd 2. Delete Windows6.1-KB2728738-v3-x64.msu from the .\Normal folder 3. Run Update.cmd 4. Run Remove_OLD.cmd (will only remove invalid parts of 2728738 5. Reboot. 6. Run KUC again and send me the packages.txt. Hopefully part 1-5 will remove all the bad packages. Set Windows Update back to your old setting. Just to let you know: "SP2" is not installed on your system. With the release of "SP2" i marked all updates and hotfixes as superseded that have been included in SP2. So your system will miss some of them (at least 1200 packages of SP2 are still needed to have the System full updated) KUC will not install SP2, if BAD updates are found. That may be the reason. So all-ways remove BAD packages first. If you do not run KUC's remover you should run as admin 0. cmd 1. cleanmgr /sageset:1 2. select Windows Update Cleanup 3. close the Disk Cleanup Settings window 4. cleanmgr /sagerun:1 This will remove 39 of the 40 Rollupfixes you have installed. This will speedup update installation. After that we can try to find out what happens to 2728738.
Thank you for your help also I found a French site explaining what to do using your tool.. I have installed the test update without any issue ans turn my Windows Update options to Automatic hoping it is correct to do that. Many thanks again.
A question for Forum members. In the Forum «MDL», among the various messages and post, some people (including Abbodi 1406) often talk about something that looks important, and that they call the OP. These people often say in the Post that everything is explained in the OP and that the PO should be consulted regularly. Can you inform us and explain: what is the OP, its importance, and how and where can it be obtained or consulted ?
