Old update: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-7-hotfix-repository.19461/page-531#post-1576344
after installing the bypass, please tell which update to install first as it seems very confusing for a user like me
Please excuse me, but I don't think that what you've written is accurate. I've been able to successfully install all three of these without installing KB4538483 beforehand: 2020-02 Servicing Stack Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4537829) Windows 7 Security Updates 2/10/2020 n/a 9.1 MB 2020-02 Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4537813) 2020-02 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based systems (KB4537767) If I've understood Abbodi's comment about KB4538483 correctly ("It's only required to get ESU through WU"), it's only a "prerequisite" if you want to use the "Windows Update" feature, which I don't. Since I have several machines to update, I find it faster to download and install the files manually. In any case, just out of interest, I'd like to hear from someone who's installed KB4538483 to find out whether, after successfully installing it, it's actually possible to use Windows Update as usual. Last but not least, Windows Update just informed me that this is available: Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - February 2020 (KB890830)
if it's the case, it would make absolutely no sense because that would mean that any win7 user will be able to install KB4537829, KB4537813 and KB4537767 without installing the bypass project. So we need some clarification about all this.
Before I forget, I think we all need to thank and congratulate Abbodi and the Bypass team for what they've done. Of course it's impossible to guess what Microsoft will do in the future, but so far, I think the people involved in the Bypass effort have done a great service for lots and lots of people. My thanks to all of them.
I installed KB4538483 but Windows Update shows no updates available. Maybe it's early. I will retry later.
You will not get ESUs through WU unless you have actual ESU key or patched wuaueng.dll with custom slc.dll
They were always available but never installed if you are on "Security Monthly Quality Rollup" which is the default. I installed KB4537820 and after reboot the SSU KB4537829. Both installed successfully without any problems. Good job @abbodi1406
Where would you go to get the office updates for Office 2016. If someone can provide that link that would be greatly appreciated.
