Another great job by the talented people of MDL. Windows 7 FTW! Micros**t can go suck it with their Wins**t 10.
Stupid paranoids at security forums, as usual. Paranoid n00b generalizing a view without knowing these specific creators and forum (MDL). How dare he?
The new servicing stack update didn't change anything of significance in ExtendedSecurityUpdatesAI.dll, so we're safe for now .-. EDIT: For the curious, the DLL's full description would go something like this: (from what I've seen in the file) "Content Management Interface Register Extended Security Updates Advanced Installer Plug-In"
p.p.s. well, well, well... I got a point of this win7 updates' like neverendless search issue... At least for my fully updated win7 ultimate x64... as mentioned earlier, after install the bypass patch v3 it takes some reasonable 10min, however after the consecutive install of the test KB4528069 a search becomes like neverendless... for instance now it runs some 40min without success... conclusion - KB4528069 removed manually.
There is no difference at all between v2 and v3, just an extra note in the readme. BTW, when downloading the file I now get a "This file is not commonly downloaded. ..." The usual safety warning. I guess someone flagged the links as malicious. (You can still ignore the warning and download the file.)
Just to confirm that Firefox gives you a warning about 'uncommon software' You get a zip download but it is an empty file. Solution is to untick 'block dangerous downloads' in options. It seems the tom toms and smoke signals are in full flow! lol
