Probably because Firefox is using the same list of "bad" URLs from Google and they also probably share links for inclusion. wget on Linux works just fine, even via Tor network using privoxy.
May be I'm alone to have this issue... I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I have all updates required (KB4490628, KB4474419, KB4523206) previously installed. I downloaded V3, unzipped and installed as administrator. When I try to install KB4528069 I get an error message "update not installed". What am I doing wrong?
OT, this site is painful when used over the Tor network, even when LOGGED IN; is the aggressive captcha really necessary? It sure is a real pain.
It'd be good if that was true. I found myself installing that update and did know about the full-screen warning to come a month later but, I thought that'd be part of a separate update for the last ever Patch Tuesday. Fingers crossed... EDIT: By the way, I've noticed that I've already got the three updates installed necessary to test the bypass (as I just checked between the Update Catalog and Installed Updates), so all I need to do is get the tool and KB4528069 and then I'm all set. For now, I have this little update put away for safekeeping.
Greetings, I'm using the "B" stategy updates "security only" following the AskWoody site and i'm fully updated through November. Net framework updates done normaly using WU. KB4490628 - KB4474419 - KB4523206 are already installed So i have not installed the Monthly rollups.. Would the BypassESU work for me as well? Or should i install a cumulative monthly rollup first? thanks...great project
Hi I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64.. but when i try to install windows6.1-kb4490628-x64_d3de52d6987f7c8bdc2c015dca69eac96047c76e.msu I get this message . : The actualizacion are not applicable to your PC. From Windows Update instaler
Im supouse my question is already awnser but anyway have the doubt. The bypass works on Windows 7 professional?¿?. I only use profesional. Thanks.
So far works with all SKUs. Test update from MS is only available for 64bit, however. If it will truly work, remains to be seen.
Hello abbodi1406 and mspaintmsi, I tested with Windows 7 Pro (Clean Install) in VM: - Installed: KB4490628 -> KB4474419 -> Restart -> KB4531786 -> KB4530734 -> Restart - BypassESU installed - ESU test update KB4528069 installed - Windows Update -> Check for updates = 38 minutes Thank you this project.
The bypass won't set the system to receive the ESU updates by WU, it only enables the install of them, so just enable the ESU bypass when needed and remove it after installing the ESU updates. This will be useful after the normal patch tuesday (jan 14. 2020) updates, then the last normal users will get the last batch of updates offered.
@laidbacktokyo thanks for the advice. Just to be clear, do we have to run what you described below as command lines to get rid of the annoying warning which will appear starting from january 14 2020 ?
Hi carlos Just saw your post saying the bijpassESU might only work on 64 bit versions of Windows 7 First time i read this...is this confirmed?

However In the M catalogue there is also the 32 bit version of kb4528069 catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=kb4528069 32bit
