Installing a new SSD, backup (before the February updates) on it, the "faulty" KB dowloaded from another computer then , well, finally the february monthly rollup update is installed Thanks again for the tip.
Why on earth do you want to install the rollup when you already have installed the separate msie11 and security only rollup?
As written, the initial goal was to install the rollup, but i got this error, so i tried the msie and security only rollup updates which were installed without problems. But as i was in the process of changing my SSD, i asked and Chantszhym gave me the tip which resolved my problem sorry for my bad english
Im back. Had to back up 7 to an earlier date. Im starting this from scratch. I read a lot here for an hr. Anyone got this figured out? I have 7 pro. Installed the bypass. Next? Has anything changed? I hate to ask step one till now
You can either install KB4528069 then uninstall bypass then install all ESU updates or you can remove bypass and simply install Lite KB4528069 pack. All this is explained in first page
His tip was about a corrupt download. You already mentioned the separate updates installed fine. And then you ask how to install the full rollup
For those who are planning to install next rollup ESU update, this ssu feb must be installed otherwise you won't be able to install next march Rollup ESU update.
Where in the OP does it mention why you would need to uninstall the bypass and KB4528069 that you had already successfully installed just to install KB4528069-lite instead?
There is a lot of confusing info, nobody should advise that, if the bypass installed KB4528069 successfully, you can remove the bypass and the ESU check will be suppressed by it. Only if no bypass is used yet, then the lite version is recommended for ease of use.
Using the KB4528O69 lite 2020-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64/x86-based Systems (KB4537820) 2020-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64/x86-based Systems (KB4537820) 2020-02 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64/x86-based systems (KB4537767) They are installed This is next. 2020-02 Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4537813) Should be more
You miss the Feb. SSU. But when you installed the rollup (KB4537820), KB4537767 and KB4537813 are not needed, the otherway around too, when KB4537813 and KB4537767 are installed, the rollup is not needed.
Thats all I need then right? You posted it i think. I need to look at that calendar. I need the SSU? I have many games on 7 and some do not play well on 10. Fallout 3 modded. Better than 10 anyway
you need the feb ssu only if you are planning to install next march rollup ESU, otherwise you don't need it.
