Hello all, I have a T60 that I forgot my Supervisor password to and was looking for some BIOS info. I ran across this site and I have been following a few threads, then, I ran across this. First, thanks to the linker for the links and second, if I understand this correctly, we should NEVER do a offline install? Or is that only for SP1 disks and or upgrades???? Can we at least slip stream the SP1 package like XP? Why was Microsoft such a d***hbag to allow this? Well, I know is Microsoft and all, but...........
i'm not sure about the offline stuff, but I know that m$ said that SP1 will not be slipstreamable, SP2 will be [if i read it correctly]
I am a little confused.. I thought Lenovo only uses 1 XRM-MS certificate.... I understand the SLICs are specific to each motherboard, are the XRM-MS certificates unique as well? - Is this the case with most manufacturers? Also I will be getting a Lenovo Laptop in June, one of the cool ones with flashing lights. Its part of an Intel/Lenovo promotion. I don't know the model, but it just came out this month (I think) - Anyways, once I have it in my hands, hopefully that helps with this. EDIT: I think I answered my own question. I compared all of the XRM-MS files that you have for download, and they are all identical. Of course the BIN files are different (one for each motherboard).
yeah if you'll look at post #15, #16, & #17 we've come to the same conclusion Your contribution to the project would be appreciated
hi, could you repost, your .bin file should only be 374 bytes, not 884 bytes. make sure that you left-click on "SLIC" & the SLIC report shows on the right before you right-click "SLIC" and "save table" THANKS !!! We gather these to give to others that don't have them
Here are two: The correct size CB-01 and TP-7E which was listed as an IBM.BIN. TP-63 can be grabbed from a Lenovo 3000 laptop.
Lenovo TC-5C Looking for XML certificate for a ThinkCentre M58. SLIC table shows Lenovo TC-5C (LTP) I wiped the drive before backing up the certificate, not realising it was different. Can anyone help?
After some wondering around Lenovo website it appears that model D10 bios has this OEMTableID and CreatorID: LENOVOTC-2X LTP Pubkey is the same as other's. Marker is empty as usual, so no SLIC sadly. but can be added to the want list in the first post.
