Can not mod Phoenix bios with SLP1.0

    I have and old HP dimension 8662c computer that I have been trying to mod with SLP1.0 so it will activate with my HP oem cd. I can flash the bios fine I just dont have the know how to do it. It is a Phoenix bios.rom. If someone could enlighten me on how do it or give it a try I would be very gratefull. Thanks!

    Are you sure no SLP..and if not, upload the rom here for us (me) to have a look...

    It appears to have Hewlett in the bios already..I have found Hewlett Packard.

    Can you post a RWEverything report and a dump of memory for us..

    With HWDirect a dump from f0000 and a size of ffff

    I ran HWDump and there is no SLP string. I cant get RWeverything to run on the computer.EOM bios checker is not showing a SLP string present either.Is there a program to just add the Hewlett-Packard string and just save the bios or is there more to it than that?
