can someone help me with my bios password dell m1530

    hi i dont no my bios password on my dell 1530 my service tag is #btt7s3j-595b please help

    hi bios version is a09 i tried wot you said and all i got was diagnostic boot selected then it went to the bios password page i put password in and nothing happened please help a little bit more thank you

    hey, try resetting bios to factory defaults, you can then specify new pass.

    how do i do that i can not get into my bios at all

    have to try all the usb ports with usb flash stick for the bios recovery.

    this works on acer aspire one also.. to bypass pwd.

    Providing you know how... Open up your system and look for a battery it should be a shape similar to a penny or small coin and will have plus and minus on the sides , remove this and wait for 1 minute then put it back in and boot up again ...

    Another option is see if you have a reset jumper at all in your system it may be in the documentation.

    i rather do it bios recovery method.. less problems.

    Removing the CMOS battery is the best way just make sure to unplug the ac adapter and remover the battery with every power source removed hold down th power button for 30 seconds then reassemble everything and you should be good to go..
