Performed a clean install. OEM-SLp key, installed Dell certificate file. No result. I checked md5 sums of vmwp.exe, both original and modded. They differ so i hadn't messed them up. What about certificate files: do they differ with time? Or files with year date 2006 should suit? Can someone post here Dell certificate file? By the way, do successful activations apply only to Win2k8 with Hyper-V or also Hyper-V Server R1/R2?
Is there a simple tut for insertig SLIC21 (e.g. for HP) into vmwp.exe of Hyper-V R2 from Windows Server 2008 R2?
Although it's easy enough to mod and replace vmwp each time it gets updated, I agree with this sentiment. If the built-in SLIC is indeed valid, seems this would be the easier method... if we had tools to generate a matching cert from a SLIC table that is.
How to mod Hyper-V Bios Can someone please post the tools used to mod the vmwp.exe it would be alot of help

Can the Hyper V BIOS be mo Sudden Computer Insanity can be caused by filling up your hard drive. From memory now, I think its Start > My Computer > Right Click C: > Properties. You should never have more than 90 of the hard drive filled up and some computers start to slow down at 50. Koz
