Can the Hyper-V BIOS be modded?

Hello there.

I was wondering if anybody has modded the Server 2008 R2 Sp1 beta vmwp.exe 6.1.7601.16562 with a Dell 2.1 slic yet. I have tried following the how to threads and am still confused. If somebody could post a copy of this it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a newer vmwp than is posted on the first 4 pages of this site? When I used it, my entire VM structure slowed down immensely.

I gotta say, this mod is very shady.

I had to uninstall it from one of my hyper-v servers because it was causing BSoD's two to four times per day. The other server is fine with it..

 

This mod, which is WHICH mod?
Always do it yourself, so you know what is where

no problems with the vwmp.exe i am using. Don't call people's work shady if you don't have any clue what it is doing.

Hi People!

Can someone upload somwhere the vmwp.exe for hyperv with Dell slic 2.1, I updatet today my server to Service pack beta 1, (better memory usage & 3d), but now my 2 hyperv virt machines wan't work :-(

I tried 4-5 Times to edit the file with Ultraedit editr (also hexedit) but I am not so good with hex editors

Maybe someone can upload the File!
