Here's my contribution to the vmwp.exe mod for Server 2012 :

    Dell SLP 2.1 Mod : DELL B10K

    added SLP 1.0 for :
    - Dell
    - IBM
    - Lenovo
    - ASUS
    - FUJITSU SIEMENS
    - GIGABYTE
    - Hewlett Packard

Tested and approved on ServerStandard 2012

    :worthy: Sebus & FreeStyler !

    PS : Complete vmwp.exe file here : hxxp://dl.free.fr/mlhDD90q0

Tried to mod the vmwp.exe for Server 2012/W8 myself but didn´t get it.

Can someone reupload the moddet exe again?
hxxp://dl.free.fr/mlhDD90q0 is seem to be down.
    Edit

The trick is to manually replace string VRTUALMICROSFT within at least RSDT, XSDT and SLIC ACPI tables with the correct OEM string (i used DELL B10K -got from a Precision T7500-)
    HxD greatly helped...
Optionally insert OEM(s):D SLP1 strings to have OEM-SLP XP/Server 2003 activated if needed...
Once all done, then correct checksum for whole 1B module (if you don't VMs won't boot :p)
    Finally reconstruct vmwp.exe file !

    Done it !

(Of course, all this couldn't be done without Yen, Sebus, Freestyler & other contributors knowledge sharing )

The mess with Dell's SLP2 strings is that they write it DELL..B10K... (replace dot with space : don't miss the last 3 ending spaces !)
I missed the last third ending space when dealing the 1st mod, corrected at 2nd try

    Why use DELL's PE_SC3 slic ?
Some prefer VMs emulate PCs instead of servers... :p

Anyway, i have just reuploaded some vmwp.exe mods (all tested successfully), since the free.fr link above died...
    hxxp://rghost.net/41973583

Inside 7z file you find those slic 2.1 mods :
    - ASUS
    - DELL (B10K)
    - HP (MPC)
    - Gigabyte
To be used with correct XRM-MS file... :D

(SLP 1.0 mods still available for Dell Computer, Hewlett, IBM CORPORATION, Lenovo, ASUS_FLASH, FUJITSU SIEMENS and GIGABYTE)

    edit :
    If you wish, you may find vmwp.exe (S2012) modded with PE_SC3 v2.2 slic here ;) : hxxp://rghost.net/41974164
    Enjoy !

    Thanks Manolo,

I've never managed to make a fully working vmwp.exe, even with the help of FreeStyler and Sebus.
So I appreciate you doing the 'hard' work for us.

    Yep !
As i was uploading new slic 2.1 modded vmwp.exe, i realized that v2.2 OEM_SLP activated Server 2012
I pulled out HxD again, and did the mod !

For those who still have 2008R2, here is the vmwp.exe Dell PE_SC3 slic 2.2 :
