Can Windows 8.1 Pro VL be activated Windows 8 Pro Retail Key?

    Hello there,

    I searched it but i could not find anything related to about this thread. So, i have windows 8 pro retail key and i have downloaded windows 8.1 pro vl. I will do fresh install windows 8.1, can i activate windows 8.1 pro vl with my windows 8 retail key via skype or online?

    NO.. it can't as this VL edition....

    Checked that thread & it seems that it will work...
