Hi I have downloaded windows 7600 (untouched ISO) & it works fine (boots ok),however when I extract the ISO with Winrar (to remove "ei.cfg & make it possible to install any version), I cannot make another bootable disc from the files, I can create a bootable flash drive, which works (with the same files), but not a DVD. I have tried Nero 9 & ImgBurn but with no success,

    Help please

Extracting an ISO will only result in loosing the boot.
    Use Ultraiso to remove it.

I was unable to use RAR on either the 32 or 64 bit both came up with fails whilst expanding.
    Try Ultra ISO

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Thanks for the quick replys, I will try ultra iso.
But how come I can make a bootable flash drive with the same files? (I know that i could just use the flash to install but I only have a 4gig flash drive & I want to keep my install media)

Actually, you can just extract the files, delete the ei.efg, load up vLite, choose the folder where you extracted them, click next, choose Bootable ISO and then click the ISO tab. You don't even have to make an ISO, you can just have it burn the files directly to the disc.
