Can't activate using SLIC, but I've done it before

    I redownloaded W7, 32bit and installed the ultimate version on my eeepc 1000HA. I've done this before and managed to activate it right after the RTM was released.

    Then I tried dual booting W7 and osX86. I screwed up my W7 installation.

    However, this time...everything seems to go well until I check the status...which says I'm still in my initial grace period.

    Can someone give me some troubleshooting tips?

    You either need to use a loader or request a BIOS mod and Flash your BIOS.

    I dont think so, I've already created a custom Slic 2.1 BIOS using the MSI SLIC info (the other SLIC info wouldn't fit in to the flash).

    SSv2 for these bios...Check RWE report to see if the SLIC is even there..

    If you did SSv3, it is a crapshoot with EeePC bios..
