cant create restore point on 9901

    tried to create a restore point but was unable to.
    system protection is on.
    any work around this situation

    Had you checked the Checksum SHA1 of your ISO? If not, do that! And: did you use an NS account or an local account?

    I had no problems for to create an Restore point!

    I can't see what exactly is happening with you,but anyway try running CMD as Administrator and type sfc/scannow and

    reboot.Chkdsk.If not try to boot in safe mode and see if you can create a restore point or not.I hope something works for you.

    doing a ugrade couldnt even do sfc

    SFC isn't working on 9901!

    Have you try to boot from Install DVD or USB Stick? Try that and on the first screen, which shows Repair access that. Than search for to create an Restore point!
