Sorry... my bad. My friend made a mistake. Code: Registered KMS machine name: kms.cc.columbia.edu:1688 KMS machine extended PID: 05426-00206-152-103094-03-1033-9200.0000-2842012 Previous ePID is good, but server name is unknown.
@Tito Sadly, I can confirm this. After activation of Win 7 Pro with Cody toolkit and before online validation Code: C:\Users\Boss1\Desktop>slmgr /dli C:\Users\Boss1\Desktop>cscript \Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs -dli Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. Please use slmgr.vbs /ato to activate and update KMS client information in order to update values.
Use the custom emulator that's been posted in the Win7 subforum. It allows you to change the Extended PID that's being used by Microsoft to identify the old ZWT emulator.
Is this info posted in the KMS activation thread still valid? "Back up your activation and remove the defunct server's host from your machine by opening a Command Prompt as Administrator and running: 'slmgr /ckms'"
/ckms was always pretty much pointless, and it still is. Edit to elaborate on why it has been pointless: It doesn't clear the KMS host's PID. It doesn't conceal the server that has been used to activate because any activation attempts and server host names are recorded in the event log. All it does is switch from a fixed host name/address to DNS-based KMS autodetection when it tries to reactivate every 7 days.
Thought so.... I'm hoping that if the KMS host keys are at some point blocked that you clever guys will somehow manage to work out a solution so the rest of us can just smile and admire your handy-work.
I'm not seeing a drop down list, possibly don't know where to look. First I click windows button, then installed product key under product key tab, then go to activation tab and install autokms, then click activate. This is just an experiment for me anyhow, I don't need to make it work, and don't think I would will take the time to play with multiple pid's.
