I don't understand why the op would validate online against a M$ server? why? if ppl did not do this, I bet MS will never find out and block the kms keys.. OP, why?????
You didn't get the point of the thread. He is not validating the KMS host online. Please reread the thread before you post, I have explained (multiple times now) what the scenario is.
these are the PID used by Microsoft Toolkit V2.3.2, so maybe if some how you change the PID on your system this will pass?? KMSPIDOffice=55041-00168-305-190595-03-1033-3790.0000-2692009 KMSPIDWindows=55041-00168-305-190595-03-1033-3790.0000-2692009
Test results PID issued by "lunar21.no-ip.org" was Code: 05426-00206-152-252649-03-1049-9200.0000-3192012 - kms host key used ended with Code: UNKNOWN??? PID issued by "Local_KMS" was Code: 55041-00206-199-002764-03-2057-7601.0000-3262012 - kms host key used ended with Code: B4W3F
I think changing ePID on client machine will deactivated KMS activation status. What we need is some one (a genius) writes a KMS emulator for windows 8,like the way we have for office 2010 and windows 7 which Cody using it in his toolkit at the moment.
When for the first time you run Cody's toolkit it will generate PID for your system and save them in setting file. Perhaps Cody can explain this, maybe I'm wrong.
In due course - yes, of course they can & they will. After all you are a pirate! For Win 7 use OEM (as we always do), it does not remove your pirate status, but you have no problems...
Not good at all. Was sure I had found the perfect solutions for all my virtual test computers (Win7, Windows 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Win8) using my own KMS server for "offline" activating. But if they do block my current KMS Host key, then I can replace it with new tokens (if we get any new tokens) that works to MS block that key also... It's hard to be a pirate If all fails, I still has hundreds of legal keys (or not keys, but activations) from my Technet and MSDN accounts. But was not planning to use them any soon.
And just about any virtual environment does OEM activation of Win7, Windows 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012. A single mod does it all. So no issues there. None at all Are you that likely to test Win8 so much? Then carry on testing, then ditch VM & install again (that what testing is) No need to cry, nothing bad really happened
