I still think this is the first time Microsoft has managed to block a KMS host key that effect the public KMS client key and makes the client non genuine. Without blocking the KMS Client key that is public. People has used KMS on both Vista and on Windows 7 without any issues, your only job was to find online KMS servers, or use a KMS emulator, and it has worked for years. Now, around 1 month after the Win8 KMS host key leak, they have manage to block the key (of course since so many have activated the KMS host key online) and can mark clients non genuine. It do no affect me at all just now, but I see dark skies in the horizon.
OK, now using the nano Im now showing Office 2013 Key has been blocked!!!!! But win 8 and all ver of that are fine....can someone confirm this using my server?? Thanks what can I do to fix it?
I have a small doubt. I have activated Win8 Pro with KMSmicro,i'm not going to validate its genuine status in the MS site. Is there anything to worry for me? I'll get updates from MS as it should be,right? Or do they automatically check for genuine status when i'm connected to internet?
It might in the future, if you either activated a Pro install with KMS before upgrading to WMC, or you used one of the ProWMC ISOs floating around. For the time being, Microsoft doesn't perform validation checks on Windows 8.
Does this pertain to ISO's that were made with an xdelta from Win8Pro x64 RTM ISO to 9200.16384.120725-1247_ProWMC_HRM_CCSA_X64FRE_EN-US_DVD? I didn't use an AIO afaik.
000-000000-00 is interesting, wonder if it is the same for every client done this way? (inc legit ones)
hope few more people will report here, who have already installed in this method can easily check and post.
