    Due to concerns about privacy I don't set software to auto-update or auto-notify.

    If you wish to use the feature and don't share my concerns about privacy then....

    I also don't install any toolbars.

    I have been using ccleaner since about 2005 (early adopter). The default settings work for me. Anyone has any idea as to whether ticking these entries in cleaner/windows options makes sense (all unticked by default):

    all entries in advanced from old prefetch data to...wipe free space
    entries in system from windows error reporting to....desktop shortcuts.

    ccleaner is a great tool. Been using ti for years. Still like the original name (crap cleaner) better:D

    I think they messed up on the release notes...they're exactly the same as for the previous version (3.11.1541). Guess we'll see corrected release notes soon. :)

    .exe hashes are different from 3.11.1541

    maybe Minor bug fixes are different ? :biggrin:

    Oh, I know the .exe is a new one, I updated :) Just saying...the release notes for this and the previous version are exactly the same on Piriform's website. How do you "add initial support for Windows 8" twice? They messed up, I'm sure of it LOL :)
