I just registered for this forum, so that could be it.. but I'm trying to download cdimage.exe but it simply takes me to a log in page for this forum, and yes I am signed in when I click the link attachment on page 1 of this thread.. What's the advantage to making the iso from your installed operating system versus using an untouched iso you downloaded? Does the iso you create include all current updates? How about user information?
both the link are corrupted or the software is not posted well in there because every time it is downloading a file of 123kb which is not working at all ... pls help
Hello, I looked for an app which can create an image file of a CD from command line, and found the CDImage. I downloaded it, but when I tried to use it, I realised that if I create an image of a bootable CD and write it to another CD, the copy is not bootable. Can be the image file bootable, and if yes how? I'd like a way in what if the original CD is bootable the copy to be bootable, too, without indicating the boot sector file. Thank you
