btw - and nothing to do with your Dell certificate check but for info, that ascii string check for certificates does not work on many HP PC's, even older ones as it's stored in an encrypted state and not plain text, so will show false regardless of having 2023 renewed certs.

Thank you @Itzisaacog , and @nonlin01 for answering.
While doing some research, I found that having “True” and “False” on the second command line could cause some issues when resetting the laptop, so I'm a bit unsure about this situation?

I'm not a pro, so I'm just trying to figure it out!

    Thanks again

The explanation you found is accurate, and I understand your concern about this. After the UEFI certificate renewal news, everybody got worried, myself included. If you were ever to reset Secure Boot to factory defaults, the 2023 certificate would get wiped out and the older 2011 certificate would take over. However, this would only happen if you deliberately go into the BIOS and reset Secure Boot, which will never happen during normal use. So your laptop is perfectly fine as it is right now.
