Hello does anyone know how you can change the green progress bars in Windows 10 to preferably blue or even white like on the PS4?
Okay I am going to try that and possibly another transparency hack. But first I need to create yet another system restore point.
I installed UxStyle and rebooted just fine. I then applied the blue version of this theme: AeroByDesign For Windows 8.1 Update 1by LiveOrDieTM on Deviantart Bars remained green. I replaced the aero.msstyles with the "blue" one provided in the rar. file and restarted. The bars still remained green. I then switched back to my normal theme and Windows 10 locked up in the process. I had to use system restore to return to normal. I am not sure what I did wrong, Slave77 says he was able to get it to work.
I've already used the feedback app to suggest to MS to add this feature of being able to change the progress bars to other colours.
Thanks to the new UxTheme for Windows 10 I have blue progress bars again. But the theme I used to get it completely changes the visual style and even adds bezels around the Windows. Does anyone how have an idea how I keep the default visual style with blue progress bars?
Yes, but I would like to keep the my windows colors that I have imported all the way back from Windows 7. It does not appear to be something can be changed in Windows 8/10. Notice the color of the field in the first image behind the buttons and the color of the message box in the second image. I would like to retain that, the default visual style with blue task bars.
That would be nice or just have color bar in the personalization menu and just slide it to the color you want the progress bars to be. Of course I would like that kind of option for almost every visual element of the OS.
Because I am have (O)CD, so I used that watermark editor to get the info down to one line and changed 9879 to a nice and even 9880. I also used the Windows 8 font changer to change most of the fonts to Helvetica Neue which are much smaller than the regular Windows 10 fonts for some reason. So now the watermark takes up less space.
