your welcome glad to hear its working fine then next ill add support for different packs, so user can add a folder with other icons, then select the wanted folder in a dropdown or s**t like that, and then press patch :3
k, program updated to 1.2 added the support for different packs, just put your resources in a subfolder in the resource folder, then open program, it should detect the new folder to use. icons should have the same name as the one your replacing, else it fails... look in win7 for a example.
Painkiller, no offence, but this discution is about how to get in Windows 10 the icons from Windows 7/8. Those were great icons and a lot of people want them back. Them and not some ugly icons maded by some blind retarded 3 years old child hired by Microsoft and hilarious - even nicely paid. Or other similar ugly icons. If you like the icons that you presented I think you can make a new thread. Not spamming this one. Have a nice day.
Uh you like the easy wins, isn't it ? Everything looks futuristic if compared with the previous builds, even the icons from win 3.11
just to post some progress... im adding a way for the program to check if file reverted to old style, and patch automaticly if its detected. this keeps the icons in the new style also check for file version, so backup file is up to date.
