Flashing the original bios works like a charm. (so no structural problem) I modded the Bios myself (award / SLIC(XP)) ASUS The modding process on the bios claims it is fully successfull, and I tried multiple options (all the checksum related ones at least [i hope]) and consistently get I bios with a checksum error (during reboot after power up) Do I need to do something different for OLDER Bios ? Are the award 1.34 incompatible by now ? It's not yet an activation problem just the checksum that is bad Any help is welcome
sorry ? I flashed both the orignal bios and the modded one only the modded one has a Checksum error load bios default after flash ??? did not understand. The new bios seems even to work but is errased on a power up (since checksum error) Is this what you mean ?
