    Yup, have all that.

WIN.AIO.DVD-XISO.NFO is the set I have. I have manged to make 2 right SP1 from those DVD's, but did have to restore uxtheme.dll's to original. The other 3 versions of XP SP1 on DVD were slipstreamed SP0's. You can tell by that they are bigger and EULA is for SP0.

sadly no, it is not possible with Imgburn.
The output from this disk is:

    Code:
    Disc Information:
    Status: Complete
    State of Last Session: Complete
    Erasable: No
    Sessions: 1
    Sectors: 274,382
    Size: 561,934,336 bytes
    Time: 61:00:32 (MM:SS:FF)

    File System Information:
    Sectors: 274,232
    Size: 561,627,136 bytes
    Time: 60:58:32 (MM:SS:FF)
And no matter what settings are chosen the iso is always padded

But MagicISO 5.5.281 (current) produces perfect hash iso

I should have been clearer, LUK is 'LIGHTNING UK!' The creator of DVD Decrypter / ImgBurn.
Meant he should be able to make it rip without the padding. If Nero can, it can't be that hard.

Many thanks. Could I get you to upload a couple of files from it?

    I386\ACC_DIS.CH_
    I386\ACCESSIB.CH_
    I386\IESUPP.CH_
    I386\IEWEBHLP.CH_
    I386\SUPP_ED.CH_
    I386\SETUPP.INI
    I386\EULA.TXT

These 7 files are the only different files between OEM and FPP in SP1a, SP2a, SP2B and SP3. They are also different between OEM and FPP in SP0 (Gold), but 2 other files are different in in SP0 as well. No idea if they are different in SP1. Maybe better to include them as to not waste your time once more:

    I386\WIN9XUPG\WIN95UPG.INF
    I386\NT5INF.CA_

Only about 114KB, so not a huge upload.

Just about any free filehoster would be fine, such as hotfile, mega, rapid etc.

    Thanks again

In SP1(SP1a) only 7 files are the different between OEM and FPP. If you have X1APOEM_EN.iso, then you can take these files from there. I can't post here links and I can't send you PM, because I'm novice here. :( XRMHFPP_EN.iso and X1AHFPP_EN.iso I also have, but I have not found confirmation of their authenticity, and therefore doubt ..

    Ok, fair enough.

Had not noticed you were brand new ;)

For me to make the correct ISO as an original, I need those 7 files from that ISO, using from a later version makes that impossible.

I have no idea if I can PM you, but I'll try.

    Thanks, looking it over now.

    EDIT, had a look.

With the files you sent, I can make same hash as the one you have.

    File: XRMPOEM_EN.ISO
    CRC-32: ffffffff
    MD4: 4763f7f145b969e86a74008a4d9a47aa
    MD5: 111595b0f9dd6ad9d5239669c8724d4c
    SHA-1: 9bf0e6f57c72a382994df5b419ce99ee8be2deb9

Files are not the same between SP1 and SP1a, well 2 of them are, other 5 are not.
Seems to be some inconsistencies between version SP1 and SP1a , only one I can see which share all files is the Pro FPP.

You recall if you got this XRMPOEM_EN as is, or has it been "made"?

All the other hashes you have, I have too, so all good.
    Can't see any I have you don't.

So we both need the Home SP1 and SP1a Retail.

    thanks for your help!

You can do Home SP1 (SP1a) FPP itself: get 5 *. CH_ files from XRMPFPP_EN and replace the files in XRMHOEM_EN. SP1a to make a similar (X1APFPP_EN-X1AHOEM_EN). HOME FPP EULA.TXT and SETUPP.INI attached.

    Windows XP SP1a VLK ISO

Sorry for replying to an old thread.

I googled for many days before finding this forum & thread to help me locate an untouched MSDN SP1a VLK ISO.

I have all the other untouched VLK ISOs in my collection (SP0, SP2a, SP2b & SP3) with hashes (MD5 & SHA-1) verified against their corresponding MSDN values.

I have found the following 2 sets of MD5 & SHA-1 hashes for the missing Windows XP SP1a VLK ISO required by me.

I wonder which is the correct one & where/how I can obtain the ISO.

    MD5: 96764386EB9AFABBC10501DAB1BA0372
    SHA-1: 6B41C27D9412B6236D996F54C579909899EE4B55

    MD5: 0F8B334315422B0B7D6CB0EEE1026CF2
    SHA-1: AF510533EFE827DCC94A1933FDC083C012B71B35

Any help in this long-standing quest of mine will be greatly appreciated. :)
