It's not OK. I got the same results and windows is not activated. The thing is that v. 06 worked for me with no problems.

TO ANYONE GETTING FAILS, RUN IN DEBUG MODE AND POST A SCREENSHOT.

There are many reasons it can fail, and the debugger was made to shed light on the cause. If you give me information about where it fails, I can probably help you.

I tried almost every other loader and patch before I tried this and it was the only one that worked. I used version .6 and there was only one thing that didn't pass or wasn't okay but it must not have been incredibly important because it still activated my copy. However, for some odd reason I booted up window seven earlier this evening and I was getting the pop-up saying that this copy isn't a genuine copy. It was popping up in the same places that others were talking about such as the notepad, control panel, paint, etc.. Before I formatted my partition and reinstalled Windows 7 I decided just to try version .7 ran over the top of .6 without removing any of the .6 components. When I ran the patch I got 100% pass rate and everything seems to be good again. I set my clock ahead to 2013 and tried some programs, rebooted with the date still set forward and try programs again, rolled back the clock to the normal date and everything seems to be kosher.

So if you were wondering, it appears to me that if version .6 isn't working for you just run version .7 over the top. You don't need to worry about restoring your system or removing .6 changes.

Thanks for that BTeasd. This is true for most users. There are a few who have issues that require removal of 0.6 first, but it is rare indeed.

It doesn't work on other languages yet. Sorry.
If you are using English MUI files, it means that your 32-bit System CPL resources are locked by another process. If this is the case, then you can try manually unlocking it with a 3rd party tool and then running Chew-WGA again, or try running Chew first thing after starting up Windows.

Okay, I've decided to make a German release of Chew-WGA, but I'll need some files from someone with a German copy of Windows 7. Anyone interested in helping me, please PM. Thanks!

This sort of problem is caused by Windows file protections getting in the way. I'm working on it; I promise.

For those having the issue with the system properties not changing even though Chew-WGA says PASS or OKAY, you can try this:
    Code:
    SFC /SCANFILE="%windir%\System32\en-US\systemcpl.dll.mui"
    64bit users, also do this:
    Code:
    SFC /SCANFILE="%windir%\SysWOW64\en-US\systemcpl.dll.mui"
After that, then restart the computer and run Chew-WGA again. Let me know if that helps.

first I wanna thanks to anemeros and those who's working on this program, you're awesome :)

after tried Hazar and Orbit loader that always made my acer laptop couldn't boot, I tried your activator chewWGA 0.6, and it succeeded to make my win7 activated. But it showed that * wga logon notifications = [FAIL]. so, everytime I logon to my win7 there was a dialog popped-up and it was about activation, but other than thing, everything's OK (background is not black, no unauthorized restart, etc)

then I tried the 0.7 version, it showed everything was OKAY and PASS, but if I open notepad and control panel, they always pop-up a dialog that say my win7 is not genuine, hope this report helpful to improve your program on the next version :)
