Yeah. I am waiting for it so that I could format & clean install Windows due to loads of bugs in my current version
IOT will have 10 years of support and non IOT will have 5 years. But IOT LTSC will be in English en-US only.
yes the 2019 version can install on regular PC, and it's identical to LTSC 2019 but it's oin english only. But with 2022 version the things will change. IOT will have 10 years of support and non IOT only 5
Does this means the using OEM only activation, SetupComplete won't run on it? Also, can the updates for the normal Enterprise LTSC be integrated into IOT and vice versa? If the updates for IOT Enterprise works for Enterprise LTSC than those who manually update can enjoy the 10 years of a LTSC too.
Far as I know the only difference is the cbs package that sets the default activation method and possibly the ei.cfg in the setup media. It's almost certainly possible to activate using KMS. It's just not the default method.
I suppose I didn't think about this but they could omit any kms or gvlk licensing options in the very activation itself. Do we already have versions of this? Has this been tested on previous IoTEnterprise and IoTEnterpriseS skus? Is there any default gVLK? Do we have any product.ini to work with for previous versions?
IoTEnterprise exist since build 18277 it's combined edition with Pro, Enterprise, Education.... it's exclusively OEM edition similarly, IoTEnterpriseS will be combined with EnterpriseS in 19044 release
IoT Enterprise shares HwID with regular Enterprise. If 2022 EnterpriseS will be supported by HwID, this probably applies to 2022 IoT EnterpriseS, too. Yes, as it's OEM, sadly, OOBE will be skipped.
Seems like Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 has already been released on VLSC.. Is this true? twitter.com/CKsTechNews/status/1446424137367539734
