Hate, hate, hate & hate IE and Firefox and Safari, etc... For me, I would rather use Chrome or ChromePlus(my favourite), the third choice will be Opera 10.5 pre-A. I dislike the flexibility of MS IE, you could compare it with ChromePlus, ChromePlus enables me to use right-click cursor to command, I could also move a tab page out from the Tabs and IE could never do these. Furthermore, IE and some other webbrowsers don't allow me to control the tabs freely. Adding tabs and closing tabs and also moving tabs with a maximum flexibility. If I want to open my favourite, just press "Ctrl + B" to show / hide My Favourite and click the button with the wheel. Why don't use Chrome / Chrome+ ? There're the best~
Latest benchmarks i have seen with peacekeeper and others like it show opera 10.5 and chrome to be neck and neck for 1st, just a matter of preference. Latest firefox was in the middle of the pack. I have tried a few benchmark comparisons myself and found this to be true. Personally i love opera 10.5 for its simplicity and speed. Used to be a firefox enthusiast, but 3.6 was bloated and terrible on my system, and jumped my cpu up to 70% immediately with one or two tabs. switched to opera instead of rolling back to a prior version out of disgust. waiting for firefox to come out of the woods for my system.
Hi..blackranger, i have never known Chrome+. Is there any difference with the usual version? Or that extended add-ons only? Thx..
I used Internet Explorer until a friend of mine informed that it was much easier to hack and access your passwords. I switched to Firefox the same day, and have been very satisfied with every aspect of the browser...
Me too well satisfied with the browser FF,it is much faster than IE... I have been using it nearly for 2 years,no probs till now
I have used Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari, and Opera. In my opinion Chrome I just didn't really like but its really not becuase of the rumors and I really don't believe in them at all cause they all started from the chinese thing and I thought google did the right thing by pullin out. I would rate it like this... Firefox (Minefield) Chrome Safari Opera IE 8
google monopoly is triying fight against microsoft monopoly by the same time we are just forced to be their users. market laws and specifically corporate crimes are just completely useless these days They can ruin hundred of market spaces with no punishment using all kind of dirty undercover treats on the industry and not a single legal decision will be held against them. they are monopolies, we all know it, and nowbody do nothing. french revolution ended cutting some heads, i ask myself for which heads will people go next time they say THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I LEFT THIS HAPPEN
Chrome is definitely faster, has nice features, and I like it better than Firefox. Firefox isn't bad, but Chrome is just better.
The best chrome based browser i think is SRWare Iron 6.0.475.1 SRWare Iron - The browser of the future, based on the free Sourcecode "Chromium" - without any problems at privacy and security. Iron, is a free and open-source web browser implementation of Chromium which primarily aims to eliminate usage tracking and other privacy-compromising functionality that the Google Chrome browser includes. While Iron does not provide extra privacy compared to Chromium, it does disable some configurable Chromium features that could share information with third parties. Google's Web browser Chrome thrilled with an extremely fast site rendering, a sleek design and innovative features. But it also gets critic from data protection specialists, for reasons such as creating a unique user ID or the submission of entries to Google to generate suggestions. SRWare Iron is a real alternative. The browser is based on the Chromium-source and offers the same features as Chrome - but without the critical points that the privacy concern. We could therefore create a browser with which you can now use the innovative features without worrying about your privacy. Changes in SRWare Iron 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows: - only one button for configuration and the documents menu - improved performance - AutoFill - Bug-/Secrurityfixes - new color scheme Homepage - http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php Size: 14.1 MB Download Freeware http://www.srware.net/downloads/srware_iron.exe Download Portable http://www.srware.net/downloads/IronPortable.zip
Before introducing Chrome, Google had supported Firefox. They used to pay customers those who install Google toolbar with Firefox. May be because of that you are not seeing any Chrome in Firefox.
I can't stand it. I wont lie I hate change...I grew up with the motto if it ain't broke don't fix it. Reason I am dreading the next update of Firefox...suppose to make the UI look "cooler" but it looks like a retard Iphone without the outrageous monthly price.
Google knows it's a waste of advertising space to target Firefox users, because Firefox works well and Chrome is still in the growing stages. IE on the other hand is not so hard to beat! Also, many FF users know what they want in a browser and would not easily switch. While many IE users probably never gave their browser choice much thought, they might well try Chrome on the strength of an ad.
