Gns3 ios Hi there firs I like to thank u for PT v6, I was looking for it. Now about GNS3 I hear that is better for complex configuration but it ask for IOS of CISCO that I dont have.. U know where I an download it from?
As of still right now, this is beta but there really is nothing beta to it. Cisco is just adding virtual hardware to it. It works 100% I have no idea what GNS3 is but Packet Tracer is best for Complex Cisco configurations considering it is made by Cisco for Cisco hardware.
I've used GNS3 for my CCNP router studies... it is like having the cisco routers there. GNS3 simulate cisco router hardware so you can run the router IOS. There are no limitations on what you can do with the GNS3 router simulators that you can't do on a real Cisco router. The only draw back on GNS3 is that they can't simulate Cisco Catalyst switches. You can on the other hand, run a Cisco 3725 or 3745 router with a module switch on it and use that as a switch.
You can go to the Cisco website and lookup the IOS names that you want to download and do a search on the web of the IOS file name.. it should give you links to download the IOS.

Do you have access to the new version (i.e. 6.0.1)? I'd appreciate it if you could share that with us. (particularly Linux version)
