Had the laptop for a few months, but I've been too lazy and busy to format it and start afresh. I plan to factory reset and perform system image backups, just in case something goes off. Then I'm going to wipe away all partitions that came with the laptop, including the EFI System and 2 Recovery Partitions (is this safe / recommended if I have a system image backup?). I will install Windows 8.1 off a UEFI bootable USB drive, and I'll get the 'Core/Pro' ISO from the stickied 'The Windows 8.1 (& related) Repository' topic. Will I be asked for a key during the installation? Thanks for the help!
