    I used the Q-Flash utility in the BIOS from a USB Thumbdrive... Everything seemed to work fine, but when it rebooted.... nothing....

    this thread was the one I've been lookin for. thanks ;)
    Can we flash those slicked bioses with bios's internal flash utilities as in gigabyte's qflash? Or should we use dos based flash utilities?

    Thank you zort. I already got a bootable flash disk. So what remains is to flash the slicked bios to my mobo within dos. But before that I have to be sure to get my mobo's bios back if things go wrong ;)
