I'm glad to hear that the discussion is allowed, as I would like to hear more about this subject. I do get people asking me to install or re-install Windows 7 on their older computers as they believe it is "lighter" or "more suitable". In my experience as long as the hardware is supported, Windows 10 will work just as well as Windows 7. The main problem I have encountered is with video drivers not working, leaving the computer running at 1024x768. Let's face it, if you only have 2 gigs of RAM neither Windows 7 nor Windows 10 is going to work very well. Work, yes, work well, no. If this stripped down version of Windows 10 works better in 2 gigs of ram, I would like to hear about it. And yes, I know quite well there are Linux distros which will "work well" with 2 gigs of RAM. But people don't want Linux, and there you are ...
Never install these heavily modified ISOs on other peoples systems, it will only be fine for you, if you get paid every time they run into trouble.
This thread is realy f**kin stupid . Get an original win 10 version from uup dump ......... use dism / dism ++ to cut removeable crap out ......... and BINGO ....... you have what you want ........ in a few minutes ...... and know 100 % what you have .
From a legal perspective, there can be a fine line between offering "Technical Support" and "Aiding and Abetting". When I worked for MSFT, I provided tech support to assist a customer with setting up a database program in a new version of Windows. The next day, I learned that the MSFT customer was a call-girl service, and the database was a repository for their clients. So was I "Aiding and Abetting" or offering "Technical Support"? MDL forums offer "Technical Support" and not "Aiding and Abetting". KMS server setup and configuration is an educational issue. MDL is a group of IT specialists, not bound by non-compete and intellectual property agreements, that are sharing their discoveries about the workings of operating systems. This information is not being sold for money. It is simply being shared. MSFT doesn't need info from MDL to develop its products. No need for "Alarm" here. Relax.
21H1 LTSC doesn't even exist... Going to have nothing but problems trying to run that crap. I am sure you will blame Microsoft when you run into issues though.
What is the difference between a call-girl service, and a food delivery service? Each is a company with a product. You were definitely providing Technical Support.
@xinso: I asked about the proof that those pictures are from a real ReviOS and NOT from other Franken-/Homebrew-Build! As it seems to be, you intentionally placed pictures on the picture of a ReviOS screen, showing falsely that it was using a Non-Existing OS as the base for ReviOS! For such action, I do not have any understanding, what you did were just intended to stir other users into bad behavior and more bad outcome!
@xinso: I just argue about the false pictures you created and posted on Post #69 with the claim of used Windows 21H1 LTSC as the used ReviOS which neither exist from ReviOS nor even exist from Microsoft! ReviOS is based on Windows 10 20H2 only, and nothing else, except the older ReviOS version 1709! What you've done with your own Reconstructions, is simply up to you! I don't mind at all. What I mind, is that things from you could not be trusted because you create intentionally a non-existing version claiming it exists as ReviOS, which I did not like! I do not trust liars by any means!
