Another cumulative update will be released in week or two, so it's not practical to integrate current one it's still small update btw, the 10586.3 string apprearing in winver is just a query from registry: Code: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion it's not a big deal or important at all
Thanks, will the update be available in msu format in the forums? My home connection is kinda s**tty, planning to download from my office.
So i must get an ISO and upgrade? Or use your ESD to ISO tool and make an ISO? (I'm not familiar with this though)
My theory behind people not getting the update is that they might have a Windows.old folder that contains the previous installation after an upgrade. When I tried to run setup.exe from the new released ISO image it claims that it is no longer possible to restore the old version, so perhaps they've removed that? I think that after the one month restore expires the update pops up. If anyone wants to test this theory go ahead. You only have to run cleanmgr.exe as administrator and check the option to delete the previous version of Windows. Oh and those who use the long time service release: stop whining if you don't get the update. Perhaps you should've taken your time to learn what LTSB stands for.
