Everyone asking if the LTSB is going to get the TH2 update has clearly no idea why it is called LTSB. Of course it isn't going to get the update. LTSB is only provided with updates every 1 to 3 years. So LTSB users should expact that the earliers feature update they get will be a Redstone update and since Redstone 1 is expected in June, which is within a year after Windows 10, it's likely to be at least Redstone 2. In my own experience, performance has gone up. On the other hand, preview builds are unreliable sources to determine whether or not performance got improved. There surely are many changes in TH2 to improve the performance and battery life of devices. So if everything is fixed that might undermine these changes, the net result should be improved performances.

My Windows 10 is KMS activated with the current MTK. Would it continue to work after the “Threshold 2” update or the KMS protocol would get changed after the update?
if the protocol gets changed then you are doomed but I guess that some enlightened freaks on MDL will find a new one
