One of my colleague stumbled upon a problem with .rar archive. We store a lot of data in archives, one of it at opening viewed a strange message, I have the exact code of it...Packed data CRC failed in volume name. The volume is corrupt. We don't have time to solve this trouble by ourselves, but we urgently have to recover rar data as soon as possible.
If the RAR archive has at least a Recovery Record, you can try repairing it with WinRAR. There's a repair feature in it. The best would be, of course, a Recovery Volume, however, people usually don't create one.
