phlash16.exe is a DOS application, you can't run it in any windows, nor XP nor Vista. For windows there are WinPhlash.

Leave AHCI as is. It's for SATA drive and does'nt matter for flash.
Try to make something bootable with DOS first, flash or CD. If it will work (boot), then add phlash.exe and wph, boot again and run phlash16 BIOS.WPH /x /mode=3 /bbl or run .bat file from archive with same command. :)

Hope you will lucky but if not, you must be ready to get help in service center or run crisis floppy.

Is it possible to change the Boot screen?

With the Phoenix BIOS Editor 2.2 I tryed to make my own Bootscreen.
I build a new BIOS image and flashed it.

But my Notebook has a black screen after reboot - I used the Crisis Method and it was alive again.

To get it work I had to use the crisis recovery floppy with the modded bios on it.

    Works perfectly!

    Thank you!

Yes I saw that too, but thats for an FL90. and my zepto 3415W is a FL92.
or do you mean that they use the same bios ???

I have one more question, by using the below parameters,
I wont damage my "Crisis recovery modus" ?
I mean they only concern the "orig. boot bios" right

    /bbl
    /pf=slp2

    Regards Jubaz

Wow, I haven't been here for a while, and we're already up to 1.16?

I've tried the Mod G (1.16), but it didn't work for me. I used the Crisis flash method, and while the Pheonix logo comes up, it gets stuck there. I can hit F2 or F12, but it will just say "waiting", but still stays stuck.

Only by Crisis flashing it to 1.16 original can i get my laptop back.

Anyone able to get the 1.16 Asus SLIC bios working?

PS, what's the changes from 1.13 to 1.16?

At least my notebook had been deliverd. But when I flash the modbios (which I had requested), using crisis recovery (method 2) my Bios tells me: "no tpm or tpm has problem". The original 1.18 BIOS from Compal works perfectly.

    Does anyone know this problem?!

I have flashed my Compal with the modded bios (1.18 by Petar) using the crisis recovery method, the notebook boot but freeze on the Phoenix boot screen, it doesn't want to start Windows, however when I press F2 (entering bios configuration) or F12 (selecting boot device) the bios responds but tells me "please wait" and nothing happen. I came back to the original 1.18. Someone has any idea?
