My computer started restarting every 2 hours, and after some research I found out why.

    Version 6.1(Build 7601: Service Pack 1, v.178)
    Evaluation Copy: Expires 3/31

My windows is activated, but I can not find a way to get rid of the evaluation copy. I am confused as if it is possible to get rid of this by some sort of activator or using a new key, or do I have to reinstall my windows without the RC build to get rid of the 2 hour restart phenomenon. Thanks

Sorry but hahaha.. The RC build expired last year 3/31..

You have to reinstall, why use a testversion instead of fullversion?

Thanks a lot. I wasn't sure if the service pack was part of my windows version i downloaded, but all I had to do was uninstall the service pack. No reinstalling(formatting) of windows needed.

Yes,this version has expired 3/31/2011,if you install again the same will not work, it appears that in itself has a timer that is set by date.
