Hi all, I am trying to download windows pro from torrent (thepiratebay). I am not clear about hash of .iso file. i have download windows 8 pro 2 times but and machted hashes with the hashes provided by MDF in "Windows 8 ISO guide MyDigitalLife For All Leaks" But they did'nt matched. Please tell me what i am doing wrong?

First one seems to be a ProWMC one (this isn´t meant as a fresh install by MS, but as an upgrade from Pro), second seems to include an activator. That means both have been altered, so hashes can´t match the ones on MSDN.
Hi, well, about your confusion, md5/4 sha-1 etc... are all hashes and they are used to check files, to make sure they are not corrupted. One file has one hash, and only one hash correspond to this file, i mean, you can't find to different data with the same hashes (except some extremly rare cases...). Some hashes are more secured, for instance sha-1 is more secured (more sure actually) than a MD5 since the first is 160 bit and MD5 is 128.

I've had to remove the torrents you linked to as one of them contained either a hacktivator or MAK key. Neither are safe as they'll likely be blocked by Microsoft in the next few months, so you'd be better off sticking with pure Windows 8 Pro and activating it with a KMS activator.

en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.iso does not contain the term VL (volume licence) see post #3 Only VL versions can be activated by KMS.....T
but in torrent there is kms activator and also the instructions of activation. there are 33 response to torrent and 80% response are possitive so i think it is valid torrent with valid activations method.
Sorry I stand corrected. I've been using nothing but VL editions, and KMS from here, since last August...T
