Hello - I am trying very hard to understand things but I am struggling and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I've recently acquired an old desktop pc. it is an e-system 101 i think it is some kind of pcworld/dixons own brand type machine. it came without a hard drive so i have bought one for a tenner from e-bay. seems to work ok - i have linux installation running fine. the machine has an xp home coa sticker and i would like to install xp home using this coa. i don't really want to pay the £37.50 that pcworld/ the techguys want for the recovery disk. am i correct in thinking that i should be able to make my own installation disk for this machine from another xp home oem disk? is there somewhere i can download a reliable copy of the files i need? could someone give me a simple summary of what i need to do? any and all help is much appreciated thanks
