NCS, ODIN is SLIC, WHS 1.0 uses SLP - it is 2003 based (get your facts right!)

I downloaded and edited the WHS DVD files with the HOQOEM CRC-D05D250E. That is my problem I don't know how to put this string into my bios or this one: HPQOEM WHS 2003 CRC-D05D250E.

I actually began following the guide that is linked on the first page of this thread, A revised (better) guide is available: here, sorry I can't post lnks as I am still a baby. Am I making any sense? At this point I believe I have throughly confused myself.

I downloaded this and ran it for Windows Server 2003 and it did indeed give me some other valid slp's. I was able to find them in the instruction post and am now installing for the 6th time. Wish me luck! Thank you and Sebus for all the help. With a little luck, God knows I have had the preserverence this will work this time.

Still nothing, when I ran the tool you mentioned I did get:

    Hewlitt-Packard Company OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=CC6CB12C ------>>>>I used this one
    Hewlitt-Packard Company OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=C0023D89
    Hewlitt-Packard Company OEMBIOS.CAT CRC32=D107C3EA
I inserted the bios files into C:\Windows_Home_Server_DVD\SVR_2003\i386\ (they were compressed using the tol provided in the post)
Installed but still had 30 activation.
I tried the VLC2OEM tool but now it won't let me boot past the error message, windows can't validate liscenses or something to that effect. I am missing something? I followed all the instructions to the letter.

UPDATE: FINALLY SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used the C0023D89 bios set and it worked. Strange thing I thought I would try, just for girns, and put the HP OEM key in the PID.INF, when it began installing it gave me an error about a bad key, I put the other key in that is mentions in step 6 of the guide, t installed is activated and all is well. Thanks again for all the help with this, it has been a real challenge.

Hi. Did you get the files you need? If not, maybe others need these files for their own use. There are a total of 9 files you need to replace files.jpg Edit: I had these files saved, these are straight from the Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 VLK.
Send me a PM if anyone needs.

I've done this process, installed fine but it won't update. I've tried through IE6 and through the console. Everything else, including internet works fine. I did have a previous WHS V1 running on the same hardware but formatted etc. Any idea on what may be wrong? Thanks.

Does anyone still have the replacement files that are required to turn the trial ISO into an OEM ISO? Both links (megaupload and mediafire) are down :(

I know this thread is old, but I have followed the instructions and everything is activated. Is there a way to get rid of the watermark?

Does anybody have the OEM:SLP Key file with the dead link in the other thread for WHS PP3 Trial to OEM? Also, the Cisco OEMBIOS files link is dead?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks very much for the keys and the oembios data. I am trying I guess to complete my collection of server 2003 oembios sets. Would you happen to have or know of where I could obtain these:

    CISCO 2003 CRC=DE21FF36
    LENOVO 2003 CRC-4E61420C

    Thanks,
