    OK can someone please help me I've been trying to activate the Windows Home Server trial for over a week now with no joy. My motherboard is Asus M3N78-VM. Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong. I have used the tool How-to-Modify-Your-Own-Bios-Using-AMI-Mod-Tool-and-Award-Mod-Tool to modify my bios with HP SLIC. Is there any way to confirm that this has worked as my oembios.exe output only states the following;

    Windows XP OEMBIOS Test v1.0/168/66 (C) 2007 severach @ msfn forums
    F:ASUS OEMBIOS.CAT CRC=2411858C
    These Royalty OEM install CD's should preactivate (SLP) on your system.
    Lines starting with E: are not reliably detected when running under Windows

    Any help would be gratefully recieved. Thank you

    @jjfern

    It is clear that the cd failed to tattoo ur bios with the HP string... however I also tried to do the same on a similar asus board and it failed... seems that bios mod is the only option to add HP string... if u want, I will do it for u... because its bios was modded before and can be found in this forum, but the bios was too old....

    Thank you. So after flashing my BIOS do I just follow the instructions on page 4 of this thread to convert Windows Home Server PP3 Trial to OEM but use the HP 2003 R2 CRC-D107C3E oembios files? What do I do about the forth step, do I leave pid.inf alone or edit it and if so what OEM:SLP key do I edit it with?
    Thank you again

    I tried WHS HP Change but still no joy, I still get asked for activation. Is there any way to confirm my BIOS has been modded ass my oembios.exe output only states the following;

    The BIOS sent by Tito aslo contains a file called HP.XRM-MS. Is there any way to use this file to activate WHS?
    Thanks for everybodies help

    Tried that tool but i think there is a problem with asus motherboards so didn't work. I would be most grateful if someone could mod my bios correctly for me so i can activate WHS.
    My orginal bios is on the previous page post #119
    Thank you for all your help so far
