Yes, it's OEM DM key, but country specific edition only ship for China, so I'm just curious how did he activate it considering he comes from UK. BTW, can we use the same OEM key from another laptop? It's tied to specific HW and OS edition, so I'm pretty sure it would be impossible.
No ,the key is tied only with HW and OS Edition but not to region or language ,so its possible for anyone with a key and anywhere in the world to install this iso and activate it. even MTK activates it. Thanks
yes, it's not tied with region or language, all i want to say is current country specific edition images that OEM ships is only for China. so if someone have this type of OEMM key, it must comes from a laptop that preinstalled with Windows 8 for China.
i am testing two new methods will report soon, in one test i was able to keep all features as you have shown.
Sidestory: With PPE it become easy as pie. kost programmed it (for me? on my advice) within a few hours as I wanted to bring back Aero. As I guessed it's only disabled over policy. Afterwards with the latest version I tried to figure out what some kind of values do and if they may can reactivated in RTM while they are sometimes differ from other Win8 builds. I experimented with a few values and most important Aero: Microsoft-Windows-DesktopWindowManager-Core-CompositionAllowed1 But unfortunatly this didn't worked out.
