I'm pretty sure only the sku sub-folder is needed nothing else. Rilc is not needed at all. Just use the command I posted in the MSDN thread at the end. This genereates a new token wich will work with updates.
As I posted before - SL SKUs in English exist and are even sold by some authorised vendors in Russia. Now it would be swell if someone bought it (both Core and Pro versions) and posted a link to images. I would have done it myself, but they probably won't deliver until after Christmas and I leave in a couple of days.

I made a spanish singlelanguage iso It's easy, the steps are the same that windows 7 thread ( http : / / forums dot mydigitallife dot info/threads/5189-TUTO-slipstream-MUI-language-pack-in-installation-DVD/page13?p=80057#post80057 ) The trick is to use dism to install LP and uninstall the russian one. And replacing the boot.wim with the spanish boot.wim from msdn iso. All the work is easily performed in less than half hour
Yeah it's very easy, simply add the W8 LP to the mounted wim, and remove the russian one, best to set the Language back to en-us or whatever language you integrated too with /set-skuintldefaults. You don't actually need to replace boot.wim or whatever though, just use the files from your W8 Iso and replace the install.wim or insert your CSLA image into the default install.wim. But if you remove the LP, not every ru-ru MUI file gets removed for some reason, so it's not completely "clean", but it's only a few MB extra if i remember correctly.

oh yes, agree with that. Otherwise, it's necesary change the boot.wim because the installer is in russian (if don't have the iso)
Would someone please be willing to upload the files needed for this to work, specifically: WIM Mount drivers Language packs for WinPE (en-us please) The en-US lp.cab, I have a en-us.cab found on the forums but it doesnt have a sources folder. The links to those are dead and after a hour I can't find them without downloads over 1GB and I am sadly on a capped line with very little data left. Also what would be the correct command to remove the Russian from it? Sorry for being noob, but are you saying you have a 300mb file that can change a normal x64 to a single language one?
I wish I had known about that a couple weeks ago, just did second round of adding and removing language packs but I finally have my legal, activated and english win 8 back!
