Fraud in the Lab: The High Stakes of Scientific Research https://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674979451 The book: https://books.google.com/books?id=PCWgDwAAQBAJ Are you going to swallow what WHO, Big Pharma, Bill "Portales" and White-collar Criminals Corp are saying?
Just one more attempt from my side to open your eyes. Ok, go and research conspiracy theories (which for many people like me they aren't cause there are evidence around the Internet) about big pharma, Bill Gates, etc. With these two topics you'll open a can of worms. Lol
corona virus can't move.. corona virus just proved that man is the most dangerous. cause its the human that brings the virus to different places and infect others.
Please someone share the English version as soon as it comes out https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corona-False-Alarm-Facts-Figures/dp/1645020576
After hearing Bhakdi's voice do you still thinking Bill Gates conspiracy theories are actually conspiracy theories?
There are dissenting scientific voices in Sweden and even their top scientists have agreed that things should have been better, more formal and they would have saved many lives.....
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...s-and-deaths-today?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other "Coronavirus has hit the UK hard, with the country recording hundreds of thousands of cases and over 40,000 deaths linked to the disease. England faced Europe’s highest excess death levels during the first wave of the pandemic." Notice the scientific terminology: "excess deaths"... So, when one says "But of course people are dying, they are always dying, nothing new about that" - are they thinking at all or at least carefully, let alone scientifically?!? @Yen, if one is empathetic, as you claim to be, then what are you saying with the damn statistic behind your argument?!? Should we not wait for better drugs, maybe a vaccine, or three - why should we risk a great number of people dying of it, just so we can go out and make some group of billionaires richer? Where is your empathy at that point? Sorry, you say "strictly scientific stuff and statistic" interest you. Well, at the point I must say I wish you were also interested in some enlightened politics... I still remember your really poor reaction to Thalidomide issues, so I must ask this rather unpleasant question and bring back some awful reality into this conversation... My kids are being forced back to school (tomorrow and in 2 days time), at a time when really successful governments in this epidemic story (South Korea) - suspended all school for its kids. Notice how many cases and how many Covid-related deaths they have and then compare with USofA, UK, Brazil etc. etc. Now, this UK government has performed umpteen U-turns of late, they are like headless chickens and certainly staffed to the gutters with sociopaths. What considered advice would you give me at this point, as a "mere scientist" and then as a "scientist advising a politician" who has to make serious decisions, re. public health policy, which affects people, in terms of how many die needlessly because those billionaires are too impatient and completely sociopathic, protecting themselves heavily, while pushing everybody back to work...??? Something is really smelly in here and it ain't me - people, wake up! Even if "only 20%" are affected by Covid19 and even if only a smaller percentage gets really ill and even if an even smaller percentage dies - do you want to be just one of the "statistics" figures and some scientist/doctor says "Oh, poor him - just unlucky...."?!?
Two things: It's unclear as of now but it seems you can catch it twice. Virus can mutate. So, second and third wave could be just as bad if not worse.
One thing: the Sars-cov-2 is like any other from the corona family and it's disease like as agressive as a bad flu with its particular complications nothing a few anticoagulants and other common flu remedies can cure.
Ahem... Nothing is black and white in any of this... Here is another "complication": https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/aug/26/obesity-increases-risk-of-covid-19-death-by-48-study-finds "...vaccine developers should look at the data from their clinical trials for the obesity effect, even where they have an overall benefit. “They might just then have to consider this and do some testing in the vaccine to get it to work better for obese people.” The hardship caused by lockdowns and loss of income for people around the world is also increasing the risk of people becoming obese, say the authors. “We’re not only at home more and experience more stress due to the pandemic, but we’re also not visiting the grocery store as often, which means the demand for highly processed junk foods and sugary beverages that are less expensive and more shelf-stable has increased,” Popkin said. “These cheap, highly processed foods are high in sugar, sodium and saturated fat and laden with highly refined carbohydrates, which all increase the risk of not only excess weight gain but also key non-communicable diseases.”"
