Hi Sam. I will surely check with the Hardware monitor thing.... However- that 1% usage is shwoing because i am not doing any thing else other than to reply you or look othe site to fix this issue ---- As soon as i will open many site or media player CPU usage will again go to sky high... Regards, Lovemeet Singh
Have you tried updating your drivers? Any driver at all? I think the problem is because your CPU is so old and so slow that it is messing it up. I do know however that a HOT CPU will go slower then a cool and happy CPU does.
Ok I might revert on the RAM comment but having 4 GB of ram for modern OS's such as windows 7 is handy... I concur with Sam as that guy in Hot Fuzz said all the time "what he said" lol
Well I had a serious CPU heat issue like a month ago where it went up to 100 degrees Celcius/212 degrees Ferenheit and it was spiking like crazy. Turns out that my stupid CPU fan shifted ever so slightly causing the thermal grease to be no good so I had to buy more and put it on the CPU. I used Antec, really good stuff but took forever to apply cause you have to use a small Razer to spread like the size of a grain of rice on the whole CPU lol. After that it works great, still running at 47-88 degrees celcius but that is because my case was never designed to have what I stuffed into it lol. BTW the low RAM can certainly add to the problem too because it makes the CPU work harder so it could very well be just is RAM that is causing the issue. lovemeet, if you cannot figure this out I would either get more ram(2-4 GB) or downgrade to XP where it will run faster on your current hardware specs.
I will surly check with 2gb RAM as i already have 1 GB in my system and another one i do have but there is some problem because as soon a slot in both RAM my PC dosen't boot ...however -- both RAM are 1 GB each and DDR 2 ,,,, Regards, Lovemeet Singh
That is odd, maybe a bad RAM socket then dude. Maybe you should just buy a DDR2 RAM 1 X 2GB or 1 X 4 GB so you only have 1 ram piece and try to sell the one you already have if you cannot install both chips without issues. Have you checked your CPU temp in bios and if so what was it?
I've seen a large number of P4 systems max out the CPU and memory on a fresh install of 7. In every case they had the "Balanced" power plan selected. Simply selecting "High Performance" resolved the issue in every case I've seen so far. I have yet to determine the common underlying thread in the P4 systems I've seen that experience this issue. I've seen far more P4 systems with similar configurations that experienced no problems at all.
Thanks I got it. I have not tried corp but I have tried the latest version of Ultimate Engineer Edition. It was essentially Ultimate witha special product key that I found on the net
@lovemeet: Where is that file "svchost.exe" located that you highlighted in green on your screenshot that is only "360K" and does not have detail information? I think we may have just found our answer dude! That looks like a virus for sure. Find it and upload it to wherever, I want to take a look at it. Please do this for me.
Hi Sam, Goood Morning.... Yeah Surly i will upload it ... Give me a couple of mintues Regards, Lovemeet Singh
