Josh, Just checked out Advanced Tokens Manager v2.9 with $OEM$ folder restore looking kewl M8 Thanks Urie
Hehe, well, the Windows Setup make working directory arguments to "%WINDIR%\System32", it's a problem of silent restore isn't working with older versions Using System32 folder, the restore works fine without errors on All 6.x NT with "Sources" folder Setup Installs Windows Vista / Server 2008 / 7 Editions
In Windows XP/2003 and older, you can change processor name, speed, and even amount of ram, something like Core i7 @ 4.2 GHz, 32 GB RAM is possible... It's can be done easy editing sysdm.cpl with ExeScope or resource Hacker. In Vista/7 i don't find until now how change other than processor name under the registry, thanks for this tool Sorry my english
The processor name is in the bios, a table with various processor names which is read and compared with installed processor, ex. in my old K7VTA3 a table with AMD Athlon XP 1500, 1600+, 1700+ etc. AMD Duron, i change with an hex editor the entire "AuthenticAMD Athlon(Tm) XP processor 1600+" with other string like "GenuineIntel Core(TM) 2 Duo E7100", and flash it. The board takes the fake Core 2 Duo String (with the real MHz/Ghz speed) only with a Atlon XP 1600+ in this case. The bad in that mod bios on K7VTA3, is the +, at the end string is not moddable (always appears)
i love this tool so much already i alomst fooled a couple of friends but the cpu speed gave it away. it would be even better if you could change the cpu speed as well.
Sounds interesting, yet another reason to customize you computer into oblivion.I will check it out dude.
